Modern Slavery
Pursuant to Modern Slavery Act 2015, modern slavery is both a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It can take various forms, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person's liberty by another to exploit them for either personal or commercial gain.

Dig-x maintains a zero-tolerance approach to any type of slavery including forced or compulsory labour, servitude, human trafficking. Dig-x is committed to acting ethically and with the highest integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. In doing so, we implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery does not encroach within our business place or indeed with any of our supply chains.

Transparency within dig-x ensures that our own business and its supply chains are scrutinised to tackle modern slavery so that we are consistent with the obligations under s54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We expect the same exacting standards from all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners and dig-x to this end it contractually includes specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children with all its third-party suppliers.
Diversity and Social Mobility
At dig-x we consider diversity collaboration as being a core strength of our business. As such we treat colleagues, clients, business partners and suppliers with the highest level of equality regardless of their race, religion, belief, sexual orientation, social circumstances, gender, disability, culture or age.
We lead by example when employing staff, which is why 40% of the board is female, and has British Asian representation. We also celebrate a wide range of ages and qualifications (ranging from state school to masters degree).
Diversity influences our decisions and the way we accomplish this is by giving individuals ownership and responsibility to provide their views in a professional manner, and actively pursuing inclusion through frequent and regular meetings at both board level and team meetings level.
Our commitment to diversity extends to our suppliers. We have created a business case for supplier diversity which aligns with our own strategy of inclusion, and positively seek to engage with suppliers who can demonstrate their own diversity.
We also source from known diverse supplier business connections such as the Federation of Small Business and British Chambers of Commerce.
